Thoughts from the T-Shirt Lady

We have added a number of new product lines, and today is no exception. Our Girls Headbands are just as cute as our Girls Hairbows, which we recently premiered.

These delightful headbands come in a variety of sizes, infants, newborn, and toddler. The flowers are created using yarn, ribbon, sheer material and crystals. And the headband is a soft stretchy fabric to protect even the most tender head and scalp.

Do you love to have sun catchers in your windows? I sure do.

And now I use the Heritage Lace Accents as well. Why? Because they are so beautiful. Delicate lace items in a variety of themes grace my windows and can be seen from the outside. 

Many years ago, my mother and I took a trip to Germany - when my youngest and her husband were stationed them. One of the things that we saw, that really struck us as unique, were lace items hangings in their windows. Oh, I’m not talking about curtains, though they have gorgeous lace curtains as well. These lace hangings were of everything. We saw lace birds, lace cats, lace churches. You name it - so very unique and so traditional.

When we came back to the US, I wanted to add them to my website, as an item that my customers could buy. I tried for a few years, to find lace that had pictures that could be used as a hanging. I found a couple of sources from Germany itself, but the length of time for shipment as well as shipping costs were prohibitive. So I decided to wait awhile and see what else I could find, that I could be delighted with, and want my customers to see.

Once I became an Authorized Dealer for Heritage Lace, I found that there were quite a number of lace hangings for windows - called Accents - that were available, and I started adding them to my collection (you should see my windows now!).

What started out as a group of 15 lace accents, has now been expanded to 24.  Of the new accents,
we have birds ,

a butterfly garden

and a cat in a window.

And with my love of cats - see some of my past posts, I really love this cat in the window - both of my cats sit in the window periodically, so it looks perfect! 

But wait, there’s more! We now offer Love Notes.

This one says: We love because He first loved us.

Not only are these lacy creations perfect for your windows - but you can also use them as little notes on packages for gifts or as a note to leave for your special someone to tell them how much you care.

Yesterday I wrote about a new lace curtain pattern - Prelude, with it’s classic lines. This Prelude pattern also comes in a line of table linens.

Today I want to tell you about additions to 2 table linen patterns. The first one is called Blue Bouquet.  This pattern comes with Tea Set motifs. Delicate looking blue and white teapots, and teacups on an ecru or white handkerchief looking fabric. Perfect in the kitchen, or for gift giving - this pattern comes in doilies, placemats, table runners, mantle scarves, and table toppers. I’ve just added their latest table topper - which is 42″ x 42″ square.

This is an example of the beautiful pattern - shown is the mantle scarf.

The 2nd pattern that has an addition is also a motif called Cozy Cottage Tea. The colors include soft blues, greens and pinks against fine ecru or white lace. Again a new table topper of 42″ x 42″ has been added.

As an authorized dealer for Heritage Lace, I wanted to tell you about a beautiful set of table linens - the Prelude pattern. This is a very clean line, almost looks like handkerchiefs  in an ecru or white solid look with delicate lace edging. And they have added to this great look!

Not only did they add a new table topper of 42″ square to their already existing set of table linens,

but they have also added this classic look in the lace curtains area.

Again a valance with the handkerchief look, and split tiers in a sheer motif. You will love the look!

What little girl doesn’t like to play dress-up. Or look ready for any outing.

Yesterday I added 3 more colors - light pink, light blue and yellow. They are sooooo adorable - your children and grandchildren will love them!

I had to much fun making it and then wearing it everywhere - many people asked where they could get one - probably lost business, but then I’m not very pushy, so we’ll see what happens now that it’s available to the public!

This design can be made on short sleeve denim shirts as well as long.

When I was going through chemo, I decided to create some pink ribbon designs as a way of saying thank you to all the people who helped me during my ordeal.

These designs have been in the works for quite awhile, since my treatments ended in December of 2006, and I’m just now getting them on-line at Sandi’s T’s. Oh well, better late than never :o)

The 2 designs that you see here, are created on either a purple tee shirt, or a white tee shirt. The fabric used in the heart has a pink ribbon theme, and I’ve appliqued a pink ribbon emblem on the shoulder as well.

I realized that I didn’t post any photos of my new product line - fabric book covers.

If I didn’t mention it before, these book covers are great. The first thing I did when I found them, was to order 1 of each size to test them out. I never offer products on-line that I  myself haven’t tried. And love!

The book cover is made with a tapestry fabric, foam lined, with 2 handles and 2 ribbons for marking your favorite verses. You can see more at our Bible Book Covers page.

Our Fabric Book Covers come in a variety of sizes and fabric selections. Of course I’m partial to cats of all kinds. Here’s one of them.

We offer paperback sized, large paperback sized as well as hard back. I have one of each. And since I read everywhere I go, and in the house, these fabric book covers really help to keep the book in good condition and protect the pages as well as the covers.
